Commenting Note

[CN: A.A. Milne's garbage stereotypes; honey bears getting their butts stuck in trees]

Willful ignorance of the habitats of honey bears will not be tolerated in this space. Today I posted the following on twitter, which I am going to reiterate here once more:

[Image description: A delicate cocktail fork appears adjacent to some profound insights encapsulated in one hundred and forty characters of nuanced prose.]

As I have previously pointed out herehereherehere, here, and here, honey bears are MAMMALS.

STOP BEING A SELF-CENTERED NINCOMSHART, AND THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

  1. Speaking of A.A. Milne's garbage stereotypes, all of the creatures in the Hundred Acre Wood are male, with the exception of Kanga, who is a Mother. She doesn't take part in their boyish adventures such as Heffalump tracking, playing Poohsticks, or getting stuck in a hole after eating too much honey. No, the Kanga character serves only as a tutting, emasculating threat, the lone female who tries to to [s]mother the free spirits of the forest.

  2. Yak how dare you disappear the creatures of the 100 hectare wood who don't comply with your limited binary gender stereotypes! Judith is in Fuck Forrest so get your fucking gender fictional forests right!

    This derail is OVER!

  3. Anon, I'm sorry I've oppressed you, but could you please name any non-gender-binary-conforming characters in cishet man, conventionally attractive white A.A. Milne's work? I don't mean to invisible anyone, and perhaps I missed something. I don't expect you to do my work for me, but if you could point me toward some resources I would be very grateful.

By the way, my full name is yahoo_yak. Please respect my boundaries and use the name I identify with the way I have written it.

    1. Anonymous, by using the verb "to invisible" instead of "to nonexistence", which is the one that Judith has asked us to use in the commenting policy, you're deliberately erasing her human personhood, in what should be A SAFE SPACE for her.

    2. Anonymous, I don't see that in the commenting policy. Has it been invisibled or nonexistenced?

    3. You are both reported for nesting replies, which erases people who can't figure out what an indent is.

  4. For Zod's sake, why won't new people read the posting guidelines and Strunk & White's "Elements of Style" before posting? I don't appreciate the garbage way these unicorn farts just type shit out on their keyboards all "gleep glorp" without thinking about how their words hurt others.

  5. I can't believe I"m having to say this AGAIN. This post is about the mammalhood of honey bears. This is NOT an invitation to discuss the flawless comment policy. Quit it out.

  6. I can't believe anybody ever types anything that ISN'T about the mammalhood of honey bears. That anyone is not typing about the mammalhood of honey bears any any given moment that any typing is happening on earth is clearly white cis male privilege and a silencing device against safe space everywhere.

I wish I could take a bath in you right now, Judith. I wish I could swallow you and you would shoot out of my fingers and toes all day and tell the world how perfectly I love you and that I'm not white anymore.

Of COURSE honey bears are mammals, how else would they have boobs under which to get boob sweat rashes? Try to think about what you post before you make this space more unsafer!
